Off the coast of Belize, near the center of Lighthouse Reef, lies The Great Blue Hole. This is a large underwater sinkhole with circular shape and over 300 meters (984 ft) across and 124 meters (407 ft) deep.
Divers with an appreciation of geographical phenomena will love this spot. With warm temperature (approx. 76 degrees Fahrenheit / 25 degrees Celcius) and low water circulation, makes this botomless pit very ideal for diving. If you get lucky, maybe you can meet the Great Blue Hole's monster, a giant serpent who spotted by some divers in late 60's and early 70's.
